The best doctor in all of hawaii!! I don't feel any pain while getting work done. The front desk is too good to be true. They are always making sure you are comfortable and offer water and mags to read. I would recommend this Dr to everyone i know! Too bad he can't be my PCP too!

A very caring person who does his best to make you comfortable and relaxed. He does his work quickly and efficiently with no pain at all---at least this first time. He is cheerful, open and has a sunny disposition as well as a well appointed, modern office with a pleasant, competent staff. His prices are high if one has no dental insurance but they may not be out of line in Honolulu where all prices are inflated.

I used the Dr Oogle service to find Dr Goode for my wife's dental care. Dr Goode recommended bonded fillings instead of the old silver type. He discussed options, and gave sound reasons for his reccomendations. After an initial exam, he formulated a dental plan, including state of the art dental imaging to explain the upcoming procedures. We truly felt my wife was getting the best care available. His staff is very friendly and first rate. The office is serenly decorated in koa and fish motif, and overlooks the blue Pacific. All equipment is modern, proven, yet state-of -the-art. For longer procedures, one can select a movie to watch on a virtual big screen (via Sony glasstron glasses). Truly a well thought out patient experience. And, the results. My wife and I could not be happier with the condition of her teeth. Dr. Goode has been an excellent dentist for me. He does not bump my teeth when working, like some other dentists, he is careful to numb the area sufficiently, very delicate with the needle, conservative with the drill, and informative with the procedures. I went in for a root canal and some crowns and was amazed by how painless it was. He also photographs your teeth with a camera so you can see the areas needing work. Excellent assistants, excellent work, reasonable price.

Dr Goode is a wonderful dentist. He is gentle and very aware of the patient's feelings. I really enjkoyed my last visit. Watching a movie during the procedure was really a great way to pass the time.

Dr.Goode is a client of mine and that is how I became his client.I am a dental technician and am responsible for some of his crown and bridge work. The patient reveiws I read are probably patients with some of my crowns in their mouths. I choose to go to Dr.Goode when it was time to get my own crownwork done. I felt, through my own working with him over the years, that his approach to taking the best care of his patients was his real concern and not just his bread and butter. I know this to be true by his response to my own critisisms when they were needed. He always trys to learn and change in order to be the best at what he does and not just "good enough". Because of this I recommend, with enthusiasm, Dr.Goode to all my friends. And not only am I confident that they will receive tha best care, as I did, but I really hope it brings him more clientel as well; if not immediatly at least with a name like "Dr.Goode" when it comes time for dentistry they won't forgett this name and look him up. I'm glad I get this opportunity to tell those who are looking for a good dentist my reasons and feeling about why you should consider giving Dr.Goode a try. I went to Dr. Goode and it turned out I needed a root canal. At the time, I had excellent insurance, which included a dental plan. However, I had to pay for some of the charges from Dr. Goode's office out-of-pocket, because some of them were deemed "unnecessary" by the insurance company. Dr. Goode himself seemed like a nice person but frankly, I can't afford to go outside my insurance plan and would not go to him again for this reason.

In 1988, I was lucky enough to have extensive repair (crowns, root canal) completed by a dentist in Colorado (where I was living), who was the very 1st dentist in my life that didn't hurt me (my nerve endings, apparently, run differently from norm). Although I visited a dentist here in Hawaii every 6 months since 1988, when more extensive work was needed in 2004, I made plans to go back to Colorado because my current Hawaii dentist was a great guy, but didn't know how to not hurt me. Then luck struck again, in the form of my being referred to Dr. Goode by a good friend of mine. His work, his patience, his interest in taking complete care of his patients, his dedication, his terrific and happy staff, are over the top of a rating board. I feel so very, very fortunate to have met him and his staff - he never hurt me one time although his work was even more extensive than that performed in Colorado in 1988; his attention to detail is beyond description; I have the most beautiful smile I have ever had in my whole life. Dr Goode uses first rate products, uses a digital camera so you can see and the insurance company can see what he did. His view is great - looks out at the pacific ocean from his 13th floor office. His staff is very careful in the cleaning (his assistant hygenist does cleaning) and he is very interested in your comfort and the end result. He is a perfectionist in matching your teeth color and getting the latest techniques into YOUR mouth. I have been with Dr. Good through 5 implant teeth and 4 crowns. He's great. Aloha!

Dr. Goode has always been very patient and attentive to my needs. He's always provided financial alternatives and allowed the choice to be completely up to me. When I'm in the seat, I feel like I'm his only patient. They have a state-of-the-art office that I feel relaxed in and it really does feel like a health spa. His staff is great! He's worked hard to find the right people and now he's got them. I'm never in pain when I leave his office. Dr. Goode has been personable and lots of fun to talk story with when I'm there. I stumbled across his name when looking for a new dentist. If you are, you've found the right dentist.
